Longines has been on a winning run of late, having released some very popular designs this year leading up to a great showing at Watches and Wonders. And it seems they’re far from done. This 2026 they relaunch the Master Collection after almost 20 years since it was last updated. The Longines Master Collection represents the pinnacle of the brand’s horological craftsmanship, where expert mechanics meet enduring style and that is reflected in the Master collection lineup but with a comprehensive rethink and reimagining of every element – from dial and hands to bezel and bracelet. There are quite a number of pieces and variants to talk about but here are a couple of our favorites that leave a strong impression.

CHRONO MOONPHASE
Probably the most desirable from the new collection in our opinion. This 41-mm moonphase chronograph houses a Longines-exclusive calibre L687.5, a self-winding mechanical movement featuring a column-wheel and a silicon balance-spring. It offers exceptional precision and a power reserve of up to 66 hours. Mixing wonderful barleycorn textures and brushed finishes on the dial with beautiful complication windows. As the name suggests the real star is the elegant moonphase window at 6 o’clock.
There’s a lot going-on on the dial but it all comes together, all elements beautifully tied together by the distinct blue hands. This comes in a leather bracelet model, the blue leaether strap is a thing of beauty as is the Stainless bracelet with a with a new dedicated folding clasp featuring micro-adjustment.
CHRONO MONOPUSHER
One of our favorite offerings in the new Master Collection has got to be the Chrrono Monopusher. Clean, simple, pure. And a wonderful expression of a classical watch format. This is a 41 mm monopusher chronograph which lends to it’s very streamlined and spare silhouette which houses the Longines exclusive caliber L799.5, a new manual-winding mechanical movement featuring a column-wheel and a silicon balance-spring. It offers exceptional precision and a power reserve of up to 68 hours.
The case is clean and spare with most of the interesting detail work saved for the dial, which comes in two color: frosted blue and ivory, with “barleycorn” texture and an unexpected pulsometer scale against a brushed finish on the outer dial circumference. The rhodium coated hands and applied numerals are a a polished silver on the frosted blue dial and a pink gold on the Ivory dial. They comes with lovely alligator leather bracelets with a new folding clasp with micro-adjustment.

THREE-HAND COLLECTION
Rounding off our top picks for the relaunched Master Collection is the Three-Hand model that comes in several different sizes. A small 30 and 34 in steel in frosted blue sunray dials as well as a two-tone steel and gold with mother-of-pearl dials and diamond indexes. And the larger 39 and 41 that comes in a barleycorn dial with applied Roman numerals. The smaller 30mm use the L592.5 calibre while the other sizes run on the L888.5. All feature date windows at 3 and saphire display casebacks.
